New Funko POP Wave of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

If you’re not familiar, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the second anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s acclaimed comic series Fullmetal Alchemist. Brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, two skilled alchemists with the capacity to alter and modify matter, are the subjects of both the manga and the anime. The two attempt to use alchemy to bring their mother back to life when she passes away from illness. Alphonse loses his entire body, Edward loses an arm, and the experiment goes horribly wrong. By tying his brother’s soul to a set of armor, Edward is able to save his brother, and the two then set out to find a way to revive Al’s body and Edward’s limbs. The State Alchemist Edward discovers a plot utilizing homonculi and the storied Philosopher’s stone when the group is traveling.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a faithful adaptation of the manga and includes many characters that weren’t in the original anime series, in contrast to the first anime adaptation (simply titled Fullmetal Alchemist), which significantly changed the plot of the manga as it eventually ran out of manga chapters to adapt.
